Small Caps Generator

Easily convert your text into small caps, superscript, and subscript. Perfect for social media, design, and documents.

What is the Small Caps, Superscript, and Subscript Generator?

This versatile tool allows you to instantly transform standard text into three distinct formats: small caps, superscript, and subscript. These special text styles are often used to add emphasis, denote footnotes, write mathematical equations, or create stylish usernames and social media profiles. Our generator uses Unicode characters, which means you can copy and paste the output anywhere that supports Unicode, including Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, and more.

How to Use the Generator

  1. Enter Your Text: Type or paste the text you want to convert into the "Input Text" box.
  2. Select a Format: Click on the desired tab—"Small Caps," "Superscript," or "Subscript."
  3. Copy the Output: The converted text will appear instantly in the output box below. Click the copy icon to copy it to your clipboard.

Understanding the Formats

Small Caps

Sᴍᴀʟʟ Cᴀᴘs text uses smaller-sized uppercase letters instead of standard lowercase letters. It's a classic typographic effect used for headings, labels, and adding a touch of elegance and formality to text without shouting like regular ALL CAPS. It's great for making your profile names or section headers look professional and clean.

Superscript

Superscript text is raised slightly above the normal line of text and is typically smaller. It's most commonly used for footnotes (like this¹), trademarks (™), copyrights (©), and mathematical exponents (e.g., E = mc²). You can also use it creatively to make text appear "smaller" or as if it's floating.

Subscript

Subscript text is lowered slightly below the normal line of text and is also smaller. Its primary use is in scientific and chemical formulas, such as the chemical formula for water, H₂O. It can also be used for creative text effects where you want characters to appear at the bottom of the line.

Where Can You Use This Converted Text?

Because our tool generates standard Unicode characters, the possibilities are nearly endless. Here are a few popular places to use your newly formatted text:

  • Social Media: Stand out on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), and TikTok with unique usernames, bios, and comments.
  • Messaging Apps: Add flair to your messages in WhatsApp, Telegram, and Discord.
